Jennifer Needs is a Senior Litigation Associate in the Firm’s Irvine office. She is a seasoned attorney who represents clients in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts throughout California. Her practice emphasizes representation of creditors in matters involving defaulted loans, foreclosures, receiverships, fraud, and lender liability. She also has extensive experience in real estate disputes, unlawful detainer, title curative, probate and trust litigation, adversary bankruptcy, and post-judgment enforcement.


Ms. Needs is admitted to the State Bar of California; the United States District Courts for the Central, Eastern, and Southern Districts of California; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and participates in the Litigation and Banking and Finance Sections. Ms. Needs volunteers with the Constitutional Rights Foundation and serves as a mock trial attorney coach for her neighborhood high school team. She is also a member of Theta Chi Epsilon, which is a philanthropic sorority based in Southern California. In her free time, Ms. Needs enjoys golf, reading, video games, gardening, and travel.

Ms. Needs attended the University of Kansas as a National Merit Scholar and received her Bachelor of Arts degrees with honors and distinction in English and Spanish. During college, she studied abroad at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela in Spain and received a certificate in Spanish language and culture. Ms. Needs attended law school at the University of Texas at Austin. While in law school, she served on three volumes of the Texas International Law Journal, acting as Article and Notes Editor of Volume 36 and Chief Article and Notes Editor of Volume 37. She also worked as a research assistant to a European Supreme Court Justice and participated in mock trial and moot court.
