Mr. Sherman has more than twenty years of industry experience representing investors, banks, mortgage companies, secured creditors as well as some of the nation’s largest loan servicers in all aspects of real estate, bankruptcy, collections and contract law.  Mr. Sherman has litigated numerous cases in the bankruptcy courts, eviction courts, and superior and district courts as well as handled appellate work in the Arizona State and Federal courts. As a foreclosure trustee Mr. Sherman has handled more than 10,000 foreclosures in the State of Arizona and has served as an expert witness and consultant on the Arizona foreclosure process and the trustee’s standard of care.

LEADERSHIP, MEMBERSHIP & HONORS

Mr. Sherman is admitted to practice in the State of Arizona as well as the U.S. District Courts and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Sherman has held various memberships which include the Arizona Trustee Association, United Trustee Association,  American Legal and Financial Network, and National Creditors Bar Association.  Mr. Sherman previously served as a pro bono lawyer for Community Legal Services and is a founding board member for Mindfulness First, an Arizona non-profit.

EDUCATION

Mr. Sherman graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Studies. He received his J.D. from Western Michigan University’s Thomas Cooley Law School. During law school, he served as an extern with the Washtenaw County Public Defender’s Office in Ann Arbor Michigan.
