Default Servicing Attorney

Growing mid-sized default servicing law firm looking to add an attorney with approximately 2-10 years of Washington and Oregon-specific experience in the practice areas associated with mortgage default servicing, particularly emphasizing default and REO litigation. These areas include, but are not limited to, litigation evictions, foreclosure (judicial and nonjudicial), bankruptcy, mediation, and compliance.

All candidates must be active members of the Oregon State Bar and be in good standing, and ideally should also be currently licensed and active in Washington as well. Successful candidates should be comfortable with and independently prepared to assist on all facets of work, including client system updating, litigation, in both state and federal court, mediation handling, and court hearing attendance throughout the state, as well general and basic pleading drafting, appellate briefing, and more. We do envision significant remote work flexibility with this role, and we enjoy a relaxed and cordial working environment. The ideal candidate should also have:

  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • experience with and a passion for litigation, plus experience with evictions, and foreclosure processes.
  • excellent client relation skills
  • preferred, but not required: compliance experience, wide industry connections and/or a portable book of complimentary business, plus a Washington State bar license. And great humor is always a plus!

We are looking for an attorney in good standing with the Arizona Bar to manage a satellite office. We are looking for a motivated and driven individual who wants to take control of an office with an established client base and caseload, but who is still hungry and wants to grow the firm’s market share in the state of Arizona through their great work and client development.

We are a growing mid-sized law firm looking for a highly motivated attorney with 5 or more years of Arizona-specific experience in the practice areas associated with mortgage default servicing.
