Katherine Walker represents major financial institutions, including banks, mortgage lenders, consumer financial companies and trustees in all stages of litigation. Mrs. Walker’s practice focuses on representing financial institutions in complex business litigation matters both locally and nationally before state and federal trial and appellate courts.
Mr. Ryan Davies is a Managing Attorney working in the firm’s Litigation and Judicial Foreclosure Departments. He has extensive experience practicing in the areas of creditor’s rights and bankruptcy. Prior to joining Zieve Brodnax & Steele, LLP he represented small and medium sized businesses in real estate and corporate transactional matters. During this time he also had the opportunity to represent mortgage lenders, automotive lenders and chapter 7 Trustees.

Janaya has over 15 years of experience representing institutional lenders in the areas of foreclosure related litigation, title issues, evictions and judicial foreclosures. Prior to joining the firm, Janaya managed a large firm, focusing on developing operational efficiencies. In 2002, Janaya managed practice groups in both evictions and judicial foreclosures for the states of Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Janaya will be overseeing the operation of ZBS practice areas in Oregon and Washington.
Stephen Dolembo is a Litigation Attorney for Nevada. Mr. Dolembo’s practice focuses on complex litigation related to real property, mortgage, banking, foreclosure, contracts, and lien disputes. Mr. Dolembo has over ten years of experience representing insurers and insureds, mortgage servicers, banks, private investors, Fortune 500 companies and numerous local businesses. Mr. Dolembo is licensed to practice in the State of Nevada.
Mark Krause is an Associate Bankruptcy Attorney in the firm’s Irvine office. Mr. Krause received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Biblical and Theological Studies from Biola University in 2009.
Mr. Stibor is the Managing Attorney in our Nevada office. He has 9 years of experience representing lenders and investment companies on a variety of matters including creditor rights, bankruptcy, foreclosure, eviction and commercial leasing.
Scott D. Crawford is the Managing Attorney for Washington and Oregon. Mr. Crawford brings over 14 years of diverse legal experience in representation of financial institutions, mortgage servicers, trustees, and title insurance companies in state, federal and bankruptcy courts throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. His practice is currently centered within the areas of default servicing, judicial and non-judicial foreclosures, bankruptcy, and wrongful foreclosure litigation.
Jennifer Needs is the Managing Litigation Attorney in the Firm’s Irvine office. She is a seasoned attorney who represents clients in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts throughout California. Her practice emphasizes representation of creditors in matters involving defaulted loans, foreclosures, receiverships, fraud, and lender liability. She also has extensive experience in real estate disputes, unlawful detainer, title curative, probate and trust litigation, adversary bankruptcy, and post-judgment enforcement.
Joseph Tirello is an associate attorney in our Phoenix, AZ office. Mr. Tirello was admitted to practice law in Arizona in November of 2016. Prior to that he worked as a paralegal with our Firm. Mr. Tirello has over nine years to experience in bankruptcy and general litigation matters. In his short time in the role of representing clients in court, he has successfully defended clients from sanction actions and preserved multimillion dollar claims from discharge.
Jeff Tchakarov is an associate litigation attorney in the firm’s Irvine office. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Tchakarov served as a judicial law clerk for the following bankruptcy judges in the Central District of California: Honorable Peter Carroll, Honorable Julia Brand, and Honorable Sheri Bluebond. His practice emphasizes matters involving defaulted loans, foreclosures, lender liability, and bankruptcy.
Steve Baker has developed a broad base of litigation and transactional legal experience in representing lenders, loan servicers, and foreclosure trustees. Mr. Baker also has extensive experience in business and commercial disputes, shareholder derivative suits, disputes involving corporate buy-sell and stock purchase agreements for closely held companies, contracts, commercial leases, employment matters, intellectual property, elder abuse and trust related issues, probate, and business entity formation and corporate governance. Mr. Baker’s pre-law experience in sales and marketing includes management of large, multi-state territories along with coordination, hiring, and supervision of customer service, engineering, operations, and technical personnel. He especially enjoys representing businesses and corporate clients because it requires both a business and legal approach to properly assist them in meeting their legal dilemmas and corporate goals. Steve was born and raised in the state of Michigan and has resided in California for many years. He enjoys reading – in particular US President biographies and other historical works – as well as bicycling, running, and wine tasting with friends.

Mr. Wade’s practice focuses on complex litigation related to real property, mortgage, banking, foreclosure, contracts, and lien disputes. He has over seven years of experience representing mortgage servicers, banks, private investors, and Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Wade is licensed to practice in the State of Nevada.
Mr. Damen is the Managing Eviction Attorney in our Irvine office. He has over eight years of experience in the default servicing industry representing financial institutions in the areas of eviction, litigation and bankruptcy. Mr. Damen routinely represents clients in both state and federal courts.
Kim R. Lepore is the Managing Attorney of our Arizona office located in Phoenix. In 2018, Ms. Lepore celebrated her 20th year as an attorney. She has over 14 years of experience in all aspects of default servicing and mortgage banking litigation representing and defending lenders, investors, loan servicers and foreclosure trustees. Prior to joining our Firm in 2018, Ms. Lepore started up and was the Managing Attorney of the Arizona office for two regional law firms for 8 years, including a period where she managed nationwide loan servicing, title and bankruptcy matters for a nationwide loan servicer. Ms. Lepore has extensive experience with mortgage default litigation, title curative litigation, eviction matters and appellate practice.
